Your vehicle is checked against the national stolen-vehicle database, then depolluted: fuel, oil, coolant and brake fluid are drained into certified containers, the battery and tyres are removed, and airbags are neutralised. Only after this is the vehicle dismantled and the chassis cut and photographed.

We close the file - certificate & RC cancellation

Certificate of Vehicle Scrapping issued

Once processing is complete, the Certificate of Vehicle Scrapping (CVS) is generated on the government's VAHAN system and your RC cancellation is filed. Your file stays linked to your registration number for future retrieval, for as long as the scrapping rules require.
